Growth monitoring and promotion

The most common form of malnutrition under focus in Uganda currently is acute malnutrition but equally there is greater significance in handling chronic malnutrition,putting in mind 1000 days window of opportunity we are not taking any chances to screen for and prevent stunting at its onset, therefore we are undertaking growth monitoring and promotion to serve as the core activity in an integrated child health and nutrition programme.
